Girls Trips
There is nothing more fun than planning a trip with the girls and then traveling as a group and just getting ready together, laughing, taking pictures and having the greatest time. From endless fresh fruits to an outdoor massage on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean to a private pool just for us, Bali was the place for our girls trip this year.
In this post, I will share with you guys our top recommendations to add to your itinerary, the place we ate, the activities we did, the books I read and the experiences we had in gorgeous Bali, Indonesia.
Before The Trip
Firstly, before arriving in Indonesia, we had to get the 3 documents below:
1) Health/MPOX Form + SAVE THE QR CODE to show immigration officer so he can scan it.
2) Tourist Tax (apparently foreigners have to pay it and only do it from this website because its the official tourist website) + download levy voucher and save it (it has QR code).
3) Customs Declaration Form + save the QR code form once submitted.
Secondly, we hired a driver from a transportation company for the whole trip. This in my opinion is necessary for Bali, because popular locations and activities are spread across, not really walking friendly. He met us at the airport, kindly helped with our bags and took us to our hotel.

Pro Tip: Book restaurants and activities in advance because they fill up quick, especially the during sunset.
Where to Stay?
Alot of people visiting Bali stay in Airbnbs and although they are nice, we opted for a hotel just because it was only us girls and our first time visiting the county so we weren’t sure what to expect.
We stayed at was Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach by IHG. It was the perfect location in between Uluwatu, which is more of the luxury resort area, and Ubud where the activities are. The hotel was lovely, it had a full buffet breakfast, with fresh fruits and all kinds of different stations for both local and international options (I have been all around the world, and Asian countries always have the best breakfast buffets). I also had a Balinese massage at the hotel and that was pure bliss.
Eat, Pray, Love
Coffee

Bali is known for its delicious coffee and 32do Bali did not disappoint. There is waiting time for a table but the interior’s calming and innovative design is worth the wait, try to go early to avoid the crowd. We also bought some goodies, I stocked up on the Osulloc Tea for myself and also to gift to my family and friends.
Dine
Dinning experiences in Bali are curated as an experience, from amazing views to delicious food, these locations were definitely worth the commute.
Uma Garden – Gorgeous dining spot under the vines that feel like a jungle in the middle of the city. We had the steaks and they were immacualte.
Sugar Sand – This was the restaurant at our hotel, they had good sea food and relaxed vibes.
Malini Uluwatu – We did a special birthday dinner here, where they created a nice setup for us and wrote “Happy Birthday” in flowers right on the corner of the cliff. The views here were beautiful.
Pro Tip: Plan extra time for the commute, even if google map gives you a certain arrival time, keep in mind, that can change with traffic. Bali has a lot of traffic and narrow roads, so insure to consult your driver on leaving time and don’t rely on navigation. Also insure to make all your reservations prior to your trip because places fill up quick.
Sound Healing
Sound Healing is a therapeutic practice in which sounds and frequencies are used to promote meditative emotional heeling and relaxation. We went to Pyramid of Chi for our experience and it was so relaxing. We Planned to meditate and manifest but fell asleep because we mistakenly went after the elephant park, but I was still into it and would go again.

Pro Tip: Go well rested so you actually experience the sound heeling.
Elephant Park
We went to Mason Elephant Park & Lodge, we explored the park and gave the cuties a bath. This is a fun excursion, just note, we had to travel for sometime to get to the location and then took about 2 hours to explore and have some elephant experiences. So all in all, we curved out half the day for this experience.
Beach Club
Reef Beach Club at The Apurva Kempinski Bali – This was so lovely, we got the beach cabana, order lunch, swam and relaxed for the day. I read The Wedding People by Alison Espach and had the time of my life. This is my ideal vacation experience and I aim to have it everywhere I go, I definitely advise you add it to your itinerary.

The Massage of A Lifetime
Now for the highlight of the trip, we booked a massage (one of many, but definitely the best) at the Bvlgari Resort Bali. The Resort is located on a cliff overlooking the Indian ocean, the massage area included a private outdoor pool with 4 loungers for each of us to relax before our massages. The massage room was like no other, it was exposed to the beautiful breeze on the edge of what seemed like a private oasis in the clouds and the massage was true bliss.
These are all the highlights (that I can share) of our week in Bali, I feel blessed for the experience and hope that your visit brings you just as much joy and relaxation.
Check out my vacation reads post for the books to take with you on this trip.
